FACTS
The school has eight classrooms equipped with computers as well as physics, chemistry and biology labs.

Students take general computing classes and are also trained on software applications commonly used in the workplace.

The school is developing new programs in plumbing, electrical wiring, informatics and hospitality and tourism.

Through a unique alliance with INFOTEP, the Institute for Technical Professional Development, the school offers hands-on training in refrigeration maintenance and repair.

In addition to academic facilities, the school has basketball and volleyball courts, a cafeteria and administrative offices.
Construction of a library began in 2006.

Total investment thus far exceeds $785,000 US.

Admission is merit based and tuition is nominal, in accordance with FPC’s commitment to sustainability and its desire to make education accessible to all local youth, regardless of family income.

The Catholic Church, Altagracia Diocese, operates the school with the cooperation of the Dominican Secretary of Education.

We have been in contact with Millikin University, de Decatur, Illinois, for one year to employ, from its school of education students that are graduated from their career in education, as well as other careers, such as Art, Music and Theater.

Other program that we have performed with this university is the training of its graduated in our institution. We had the experience with one of them and we shall continue this type of Exchange.

By the other hand, as the institution is part of the Foundation PUNTACANA, which has by the Biodiversity Center performed agreements with several international universities, among them: Columbia University, Harvard, Cornell, Steven University, Virginia Tech, Miami University; Among other things, they allow that our students and teachers shall establish academic contacts with the participants that come for periods. They can give lectures and/or workshops to students and teachers of our educative center.
